Troubleshooting

1. The door starts down, but stops before it is closed entirely.
  1. Check the setting for the DOWN limit switch.
2. The door starts down, but stops and goes back up.
  1. Make sure nothing is in the way of the beam of the Photo Cell and the lenses are aligned properly.
  2. Check the Force Adjustment and Contact Reverse.
3. The door will open, but will not close.
  1. Make sure nothing is in the way of the beam of the Photo Cell and the lenses are aligned properly.

  3. Check the Close Force Adjustment.
4. The door will close, but will not open.
  1. Check the door for broken springs.
  2. Check the Open Force Adjustment.
  3. Check the vacation lock switch on the wall console.
5. The door starts to open, but stops on the way up.
  1. Check for broken springs.
  2. Check the door condition. Make sure it is properly lubricated and balanced.
  3. Check the Open Force Adjustment.
6. The Door Opener runs, but the door does not open or close.
  1. Make sure the trolley is engaged to the trolley Slide
    i. The trolley Lever should be in the lock position
7. The door will open or close for no apparent reason.
  1. Make sure the staples on the wire from the Power Head to the Wall Control have not cut the insulation. This can short the wires.
  2. Make sure the Remote Control Button is not stuck.
8. The Remote Control has less than 25ft operating range
  1. Replace the battery.
  2. Possible outside interference.
9. The Remote Control does not work, but the Wall Control does.
  1. Check the Lock Switch on the Wall Console.
10. The Door makes loud or unusual noises during operation.
  1. Check the door condition. Make sure it is properly lubricated and balanced.
